Replacing the water mains.

Hi

There is a programme of replacing the gas and water mains in my area.

They are also laying more fibre, my green box is almost a kilometre away.

We have very wide grass verges, part of the child friendly design.

Things have been going very well, plenty of liason, neat and tidy and friendly workmen.

We get daily updates of progress.

Now they have reached the prats on the corner.

Not moving my car, dig round it.

There are always some who ruin things.

If it's their land then I don't blame them.

It's the workmen's job to handle it - not the neighbours.

Hi

Spot on Barry.

It is a Housing Association House and they do not work, on Benefits.

They know their rights, but not their responsibilities.

Playing silly idiots costs them nothing but costs everyone else money.

Must be tempting to dig a trench all round the car then knock off for the weekend.

Things like this, assuming it was his land the car was on, it is exactly the stance I would take. Bloody mindedness? Sure! Why not? I REALLY don't do nice.
