Could Italy End the Euro ?

Latest from Italy is they are to activate their own currency in parallel to the Euro.

This could be a catastrophe for the Euro ...

Re: Could Italy End the Euro ?

I remember my first posting overseas to Italy when I was in the RAF. We were given £400 for general spending money for a fortnight by the paymaster. That equated to one million Lira. The first and only time I'm likely to be a millionaire!

Apart from that feeling, wouldn't it have been nice if you could have paid with your own euros?
Bythe way, the above is 2018 news, when it was already launched. But england is a long way from italy, it seems.

Italy 2018

Normally budgets are set in the year before, so 2019 budget is determined in 2018.
