True but perhaps that is the misuse of the language, I once heard this man described as a future Prime Minister.

Re: My Favorite Classic Film

After much consideration,I'm going with two of the saddest stars in classic movie history...King Kong-Frankenstein..I mean these poor guys couldn't catch a break..Kong chillin on his little island knocking out giant dinasours and here comes Man who drags him off to the big city where he falls for a chick, head over heels...and poor ol Frankie got married to a chick who couldn't stand him,and after had to hang around with that Lawrence Talbot dude who tried to chump him every time the moon got full, those guys had it rough!!

I have always loved Jane Eyre. Always watch it when it comes on the telly. So many versions of it lol. But I enjoy them.

Re: My Favorite Classic Film

Out Of Africa tops my list with Meryl Streep and Robert Redford. Also Walkabout with a very young Jenny Agutter.
In fact almost anything with John Barry music running through it.
Somewhere In Time with Christopher Reeve and Jane Seymour. Never mind the time travelling storyline, just listen to the music.

Rebecca, love that film. And sometimes through the night when I am unable to sleep I watch old black and white movies, found some really good ones like the suspect, brilliant film also the lady in white, I love a film with a twist.
