In mine, I cook the red onion and mince together until they are soft and the mice has been sealed. I then add peas, mushrooms, sweet corn, sliced carrots, red wine and stock. Cook on a low heat for about 20 minutes. Transfer to a casserole dish and make the mash. Maris Piper for me - when cooked, add butter , milk and salt. Spread over the mince mixture and bake or grill for about another 15-20 minutes. Serve with cabbage or veg of your choice.
