Far more foxes around now we are in lockdown which makes dog walking quite stressful.

Planning to start online yoga tomorrow so will hopefully be able to show real exercise every day instead of just walking around the house and garden.

More time for Foxes on the forum too Annie....

I look forward to reading your reports Annie.....

16500 paces yesterday Foxy, you're calculation is about right, 2100 paces to a mile.

Haha of course!

Exercise reports today are not as impressive as I hoped although I did mop the hall floor with diluted bleach and washed my hands about a hundred times very energetically. Oh well tomorrow is another day!

Don't talk to me about cleaning Annie, Mrs Fox has scrubbed the house out from top to bottom. Every morning she has got her head in a cupboard or drawer, and the hard floors are in a constant state of wetness. The washing machine has been active on an industrial scale, and the washing line is buckling from the weight of soggy items of clothing. It is just impossible to sit in one place for any length of time without being swished by a mop or dishcloth. I am seriously thinking about moving out.......... I am being held captive by a crazy woman with OCD...

Re: Post your daily exercise routine

Annie, you made me laugh about your dog, but I am terribly glad you are ok. Occasionally, my giant one-eyed pup, who is usually well mannered whips me around like I am on the end of a kite string when he sees something of great interest! That dog is going to be the death of me.

Realspeed, where and when is your cruise? Amazingly I read that cruise bookings worldwide are still up 9%. I suppose that shows our optimistic nature.

Spitfire, you have been holding out on me . I had no idea that you had all that equipment at home. How often do you use it?

OGF, an intrepid should you are and it's reassuring to know you are still making your way around the neighborhood before the sun is shining. How is the road traffic?

It's been an incredible few weeks here working with many good people who have pulled their boot straps up to navigate the present challenges. Although online education, meal distribution, and getting my mother situated to be mostly isolated for some time has devoured my free time, I've still been able to get in plenty of running despite the fact that all the beaches, parks, and sportsplex are now closed and off limits. That has forced me to the shady rolling oak-canopied trails, but everyone is like-minded which defeats the purpose of closing all the other venues. Happy to be out though and exercise is the one thing that seems to be encouraged.

So nice to read all of your posts.

haha! By all accounts Mrs OGF is very wise and undoubtedly very fit. This dratted virus is very sticky and stubborn to remove. But yes this situation makes everyone overreact and feel a bit like a US serviceman dealing with the Vietcong.

I get the feeling this situation is making dogs more anxious which doesn't really help. They pick up our signals and they don't like the change.

Probably so, on the dogs, Annie. Thank you for your kind wishes. You know it goes both ways .

Message for Foxy . . .

Hiya Foxy, I thought of you the other day because there was a man on the news who ran a marathon in his back garden. Have a look at this.

https://www.theguardian.com/world/20...en-coronavirus

There was also another chap on our local news who jogged 60 miles and over 2,000 laps in his back garden too. Whew!
