Re: Over 50's Club Scotland (part 3)
Morning Ladies, I was feeling too sorry for myself yesterday as I ended up at the doctors. A few days ago I got this niggle in the small of my back, got worse each day, till yesterday when I was in agony. Managed to get an appointment and it seems I must have overdone it with the family visit and yanked the big muscle that goes from the lower back to the buttock. She gave me an injection as everything was all inflamed and a prescription for heavy duty pain killers. Feeling a good bit better today, might be able to walk the dog again tomorrow all be it a short walk. Bottom line is...... This happened because my body can't cope the way it did when I was swimming every day. I have to bite the bullet and go back as soon as I'm sorted. Bloody virus.Re: Over 50's Club Scotland (part 3)
Morning, Supposed to be a good day weather wise, sooooo I've got the bedding in the machine at the moment. Fingers crossed.Re: Over 50's Club Scotland (part 3)
Good Morning Each,a fine sunny frosty one here so just back from a walk and popped into the co-op for 2 rolls for breakfast, sausage & bacon..I'm ready for anything nowRe: Over 50's Club Scotland (part 3)
Good morning ladies. Sunny here at the moment hope it lasts. Roxy hope your feeling better today and your back is easing off. May that sounds good bacon and sausage, nae tattie scone. Haven't seen any news about the vaccinanation. Some shopping for me today and then put my feet up.Re: Over 50's Club Scotland (part 3)
Thanks, the pain killers are helping and I'm able to move a bit more easily, but I can only do a bit at a time and have to sit down as the pain starts again. As soon as it subsides I can do another wee bit. Putting the clean duvet cover on was fun (not) Still, baby steps all way I can go.Re: Over 50's Club Scotland (part 3)
Jess, I love jigsaws, especially the Thomas Kinkade ones. Mine are all online though and I just save till the next time when I've had enough. I have 800+ in my files now, been collecting them over ten years, I also listen to my audio books while I'm doing one.Re: Over 50's Club Scotland (part 3)
Morning, Another lovely sunny day. Soak them up while you can, they will be few n far between soon enough. A bit easier movement again today too, hopefully be better by the W/E. I'm dreading tonight as the town's fireworks display is cancelled, it's a very popular one and nearly everyone goes to it and we're not bothered by private parties, but this year we're really worried as we don't know what tonight will bring. We've moved things around a bit and brought all the sheep down near the house and the big barn they can get into, the horses will be locked up and Dageus I know will be having fits as he's terrified of fireworks.Thread Tools | |
