Surely we all plucked from the crabtree in our innocent days, only to be rewarded with a dose of the runs.
"And satan did say unto Eve, pluck not from yonder crabtree lest you sour mankind for all eternity" as de holy bible say.

Re: Leisurely Scribbles (part 5)

They’ve always done their best to hide the lower part of Ireland on the weather map Fruity, can’t be giving away free weather to the Irish Republic, anyway we have our own, think yu.

Drink Guinness and be a cowboy indeed, I should be so lucky.
Actually Gummy I would have loved to be a struggling sculptor in a dingy Paris attic.

How to sculpt in a nutshell, a bit confined I’ll agree but perseverance is your only man.

(The following is roughly translated from one of Michael Angelo’s diaries by Jem)

“Watch carefully and soon yez’ll
Be able to master the hammer and chisel
Concentrate on what’s going on
Then you’ll remember it like a song
Do it exactly as I have told it
And soon you’ll be able to do it blindfolded”

I’d loved to be able to sculpt in stone, such a magical thing to be able to create something beautiful from a lump of rock or marble, I don’t care what anyone says but there’s something spiritual about working with certain stones, ah well too late to teach an old dog new tricks.

I am a bit reticent about posting, after Jems heartfelt confession about yearning to be a Sculptor , but I guess someone had to "Chip in".

A plastic replica of Trigger's horseshoes, alleged to be signed by Ray Rogers (Roys brother).
or
The cat that chewed your new shoes.
or
Telli a quantity Savalas lollipops, barely sucked
