I don't think anyone would disagree with dressing a small dog in a proper coat when it's cold, the problem is those that dress them like humans. I hate it personally.There was a programme on TV last night about the top ten dogs and it showed one woman who insisted on washing her dogs every single day and putting some sort of curlers on them. IMO, the dogs did not look happy.
If you saw the programme you'll know who I am talking about - The rich, posh woman with bad taste in interior design.

Yes LD, I watched the late half of that programme and shouted at the telly! Could understand a woman doing it, but the husband also encouraging the dressing up and pampering was something else.I despise the idea of handbag dogs and the dressing up of them, just to please the owner.
