Re: Supper Feast?

By Dinner do you mean the large evening meal? Here in the US it's mostly called dinner, but in some areas also called supper... not exactly sure what you mean, Rainbow. Dinner's commonly round 7 pm ....

Re: Supper Feast?

Hi dandysmom, Yes, I mean the main meal being Dinner in the early part of the evening. Some people have nothing further to eat, whereas others are inclined to want a little (or larger) snack later in the evening - supper.

So I was wondering who enjoyed a little Supper.

Regards,
Rainbow

Re: Supper Feast?

We have our dinner about 5.00pm. Nothing to eat after that until morning but I do have a cup of tea about 7.30ish and a cappuccino about 9.00ish.

When I was home with my parents, Mum always prepared sandwiches at sometime during the evening for supper ...... I thing it was more the done thing in those days!

Re: Supper Feast?

Hate to say this but when stomach growls I eat. My life style is such that when food is there I grab it. But My "main" evening meal is around 6ish.

(However, I don't have regular meal-times).

Re: Supper Feast?

Breakfast at 7, lunch at 12, tea at 5, drinks of tea/coffee in between.
Small meals, no snacks, long walks, chopping wood, work in garden, still overweight!

Re: Supper Feast?

I don't do breakfast - only a drink (I know its not good)
11.00ish - cereal and fruit
2.00pm - lunch - sandwich, soup
6.00pm - evening meal - something cooked.
Coffee/tea/water/fruit juice as and when during the day.
Nothing else after evening meal unless a drink.
Oh! I forgot the chocolate - as and when I feel the need
