If you go into Tesco at the moment, you'll get a half decent bottle of Hardys Chardonnay for half price(£3). Needless to say, I've been necking a few bottles!

Oh yes very nice but the pinot just edges it for me, the local Tesco does a nice one at a good price.

Me too!!! - but for a nice (white) wine I like a bottle of Hungarian Tokay. Red wine has to be Egri Bikaver (Bulls Blood).

They've got one for the older generation now it's made from the Pinot More grape variety.

It tastes of Gooseberries , fruity and delicious

Dont drink now I am on Warfarin, but I used to like whisky and ginger wine and also liked Brown Bros wine.I also like Jamesons Whisky neat.Must say it was only occasionally, I am not a lush!!!

Annie darlin' - fear not!!! - I too have been prescribed warfarin - will be taking that permanently - but I also like an occasional drink too - providing one observes the sterling caution of 'everything in moderation' one may still occasionally imbibe.
