As time goes on, less people are believing in project fear, and the more ridiculous it gets.

Expect that number to be almost eliminated by March once project fear has nothing else to offer other than comedy value.

Removing VAT on fuel would be a good move - unless you enjoy paying it.
Removing vat altogether would make up for some of the tariff inflation for consumers. Would also lighten the admin burden for business.

You haven't addressed the movement in the flow of charges from state to consumers/business so I assume you acknowledge that.

Hi

Really?

No Deal means we pay Tariffs on Imports and Exports, not only from the EU, but everywhere, we lose all our Free Trade Deals.

No other Country in the World has ever done this, and with good reason.

We don't have to put tariffs on imports - that is up to us.

Re: Stockpiling

About 95% of companies in UK don't export at all, not that the fear mongers ever say that. We can't stay in EU just for the 5% who do. We import a lot more though, but I can't imagine which countries are insane enough to refuse to sell to use or put restrictions in place to make it more difficult.

Leavers are leavers as far as I’m concerned.

They range from those who take a sensible measured approach to those who are puppets of the disaster capitalists and alt right who would destroy the prosperity of this country

If we don’t impose tariffs on incoming goods that 95% will have to compete against the flood of cheap foreign imports

They would need to shed labour and automate or drastically cut wages to survive

Is that what you voted for?

Do you understand what that would do to our industry and economy?

Not an awful lot - we would be able to buy stuff from anywhere in the world a lot cheaper than we get from the EU for a start.

Besides we are already subject to the EU's external tariffs for imports anyway from 3rd countries.
