No resistance Solly, l just thought the saying 'going dutch, came

in british taverns?

It seems to have become a requirement that brits must always
fight with their hands IN their pockets Solly! As witnessed
recently in brexit negotiations when our parliament made the law
that the NO DEAL option be removed from the options available
to us??
Something akin to sending in your opening batsman in without
a bat!!

That's tribal fighting among british clans. Has nothing to do with other folks.

I thought we were in a fight to leave Europe Solly! But you are
correct our lack of weapons seems to be entirely our own fault?
Must be something to do with our sense of fair play?

The EU isn't keeping you. That deal is on the table for almost a year now (november 2018). All your fighting is among each other, and is still going on.

Got to agree with you there.

Getting out of on organisation is usually easy, getting in is usually the hardest part but with their EU membership Britain managed to completely balls up both without help from anybody.

It is a fascinating train wreck but one that you need to appreciate from outside.

A slight amendment to the above Brucy?
The leave negotiations were not stuffed up by incompetence, but
by design!! Only the entry negotiations were flawed by by extreme
incompetence!!

One sided incompetence. As frans timmermans said in 2016: my god, they haven't got a plan! They haven't got a clue!

Now some are still thinking about a no deal brexit. My god, they haven't got a plan, and no clue what they are in for!
You never learn.
