New Challenge - Beach combing

Please post your photos of beach findings, seaweed, driftwood, shells etc. Anything found on a walk on the beach.

As always your own work, taken by you, edited, enhanced or manipulated.

Re: New Challenge - Beach combing

Did you know that you can eat bladderwrack seaweed?

I get veg delivered and they've started offering foraged stuff, (sustainably foraged), and that includes bladderwrack.

It's very nutritious, and contains loads of minerals, vitamins and includes iodine. You can have it raw in salads, but I chop it up and add it to stir fries and curries.
It has just a very delicate flavour, and isn't in the slightest bit 'fishy'.

Just sayin'.

I've eaten this week's, otherwise I'd have photographed it!
