Re: I Picked Queen Elizabeth Up Off The Floor Today..

Here is an update, which is true. Honestly.

Today, l went back to the garden centre. I looked to see if ‘Queen Elizabeth’ was still there and she was!
She was all on her own and on the floor again. Upright this time, whilst all the other roses were on a stand. She was still in her broken flowerpot surrounded by, not a lot of compost that was totally dried out. Her leaves had drooped and she looked very sorrowful.
I could take no more, l picked her up and marched straight to the Manager.

What happened next?

The Manager asked you if you would be so kind as to give the poor waif and stray a home, as you were obviously meant to be together, and who was he to deprive the two of you from having a fulfilling relationship?

Besides which, the Rose was obviously trying to escape, so you'd be doing him a favour, actually.

At no charge, obviously!

Or maybe Queen Elizabeth turned into Audrey II and ate the manager?
