What a lovely day

Fishing for bass down at my hut today in the sunshine.

Sometimes I need to remind myself how lucky I am just to be able to up sticks and go to the beach.

Bugger all fish though even with massive baits banged out at range.

I'm also near the beach but wont go on it as its packed with happy holidaymakers and punch and Judy. Your beach looks quiet . Yes tis a beautiful day

We normally have the beach to ourselves. There isn't anything here really other than beach huts and a toilet block.

I'd like to live either in the country or near the sea, yes i agree with you, you are privileged. It has been a really nice cheerful day, glad you enjoyed yours

Beautiful weather here today. The trouble with living not far from the sea is that when the weather is nice, every bugger wants to be there, particularly when it's half term.

I look at the several beach huts at Hornsea on the Yorkshire Coast and think how great it would be to get one of those. Trouble is the waiting list is horrendous for just 12 little chalets on the prom there.

Glad everyone had a lovely day with sunshine, especially those near the water, be it sea or canal or brook or stream

We hardly got a look at the yellow thing in the sky and the only water around came from the sky in spits and spots on my washing that was on the way to being dry

It's been a lovely sunny day here, I've spent most of it out in the garden.
