Some of my fondest memories come to me when I listen to certain tunes. Music as always been in my life since I was around 16 before that everything was a nightmare.
I guess it saved my sorry ass in a way, well at least until I was 22 then the wife and kids took over..

Longfellow it just shows you how important music is to some of us. I've always loved it. My children loved it and as I've said before, they're all musicians in their spare time. I just can't imagine life without it. It can be a form of escapism which we all need from time to time. I'm glad you get so much pleasure from it and share it with us. Thank you

I got that tonight listening to Nanci Griffith's rendition of "From a Distance". Such a beautiful song and with a very powerful sentiment.
