Google Chrome won't launch

Has anyone else got problems with Google Chrome? Since yesterday evening it won't launch, or it takes about 10 minutes for it to appear.

I downloaded Windows 10 a couple of weeks ago and have had no problems with it so far.

I have had to use Internet Explorer to get on here.

I occasionally have the same problem with Chrome but if I turn my laptop off for a few minutes and start again it usually corrects itself.

My advice would be to delete the program and restart your computer .... then install it again, it has probably become corrupted.

Re: Google Chrome won't launch

Chrome is really playing up for me today, when I try to close a programme, it says it's not responding, so I have to close, and start again. It's done it about 3 times this morning. I've been think of getting rid of it and using Firefox instead. I haven't downloaded windows 10 yet.

Re: Google Chrome won't launch

One step that can be tried with Google Chome is a reset. Best to be aware of what resetting does and what may need setting up afterwards (if any customisation has been done):

To reset, go to: 'Menu > Settings > Show advanced settings > Reset settings.
