Gadgets

Since the advent of Windows 10 we can no longer have MS gadgets on our desktops
I had a nice analogue clock face as a permanent feature there ... so much better than that little excuse for a clock on the taskbar.
Anyone any ides of where I might get one that will be a permanent feature on my desktop ?

I liked the weather gadget Malcolm but mine disappeared a few months ago and I'm still on Windows 7. I understood it to be because of a security risk.

If you're on Chrome try their extension "Clock for Google Chrome" it's what you are looking for.

I haven't tried it (link below) but How-To Geek is a reputable site for information and has this about how to put gadgets on Windows 10's Desktop. I read gadgets were removed for security reasons too but I can't find anything bad about the program highlighted:

I have D/L and installed...I now have an analogue clock on my desktop, just exactly what I wanted

I wish I was a genius Malcolm. It's the those who write the programs or come up with various tweaks for computers who are the clever ones.
