I read that TomTom's company in Holland is trying to move into different markets, as the satellite navigation systems for cars is losing money

I no longer use my sat nav as I've an excellent application on my mobile phone.

We have a Crooked Billet.......roundabout. The pub was demolished years ago.

We have a Garmin - it's been fine - its cheaper to buy a new one than it is to try and update it. We are on our second. The only slightly annoying/amusing thing is that if you go down a route "the lady" has told you not to she says - in what sounds like a rather sulky voice - "ReCALCulating"!!

No secret, Garmin are the choice of the UK Enforcement Agencies, Police, Military etc.

I prefer the use of Google Maps on my phone, not only is it free and is updated regularly, it also shows you what your destination looks like using Streetview.

Ours was demolished recently too and more houses have been built. It's a really confusing roundabout, anyone who doesn't know the area gets totally vexed
