Alesha Dixon leaves 'Strictly'

Alesha Dixon is to leave Strictly Come Dancing to join ITV1 talent show Britain's Got Talent!

I wonder who will replace her?

I reckon it will be another woman, you never know Arlene Philips might come back.

Oh, didn't know that Mags. Personally, I've never rated her on Strictly-maybe Britain's Got Talent will suit her better. Simon must see something in her that will suit the programme

I would love Arlene to come back, but can't see it happening-should never have got rid of her in the first place

Re: Alesha Dixon leaves 'Strictly'

It looks like a £350,000 pay rise had a lot to do with her decision to leave

I can't see Arlene coming back again either, shame though as she always knew what she was talking about regarding dancing

Thanks for the link Mags. £350,000, is that all Simon has more money than sense! (still like him though )

They were talking about it on the radio this morning.
Perhaps they will bring in someone with technical knowledge and take Strictly back to the type of program it used to be rather than the pantomime it is becoming.

Oh no Mags-can't be doing with 2 Golden Oldies-Bruce is enough! What about the stand-in for Len when he was away for couple of weeks? Unfortunately, I can't think of her name

Re: Alesha Dixon leaves 'Strictly'

An experienced dancer like Karen Hardy would be good
I think there was some controversy when she was dropped as a dancer in favour of younger model rather like Arlene was .

I don't think Arlene would come back...

Meg, forgotten about Karen. She would definitely be a good replacement

Didn't she have a bust-up with Craig though?
