Over 65's opinions

I have just read that "according to a survey" , 1 in 6 people over 65 say they take pleasure in 'saying what they think' and don't care about the consequences.
Do you think that is true?

I think we've become that way - I have to say what I think, but I always have .... dont like injustice of any kind, so have always stood up for meself and others ......

Well, I'll be 65 in January.. So I'll let you know then.. However, I've never had a problem saying what I think... so I guess I'll be a real treat next year..

My thoughts are that what ever their age, the sort of person who says they take pleasure in 'saying what they think' and don't care about the consequences, is usually someone who has no manners, probably didn't know how to behave when young and has not improved with age.

It's interesting that they are often the sort of people who take huge offence when treated by others in the way they advocate.

Well I am 65 and have for many years said what I thought if it was needed. I do have the intelligence to say it in a good way and when
someone really needed to be told. I am sometimes like a bossy big sister
especially to men. They seem to like it
