Gift on the first date

Ladies, if you were having a first date, and if your men usually bring a gift, would you rather it be flowers or chocolates.

I know a lot of you would rather have diamonds, me too.

Why would you expect a gift on the first date? Does that work both ways, a bloke being given a gift too?

I've never had a 'First date Gift' in me life!

Never expected one either.

Re: Gift on the first date

No man has ever given me a gift on a first date, they do pay for the meal or wherever they are taking me to.

When my son was a teen, the girls would bring him a bouquet of flowers. I was in shock (of course, they ended up mine), as my son isn't a flower type guy.

I wouldn't think of giving a gift to a man on the first date.....and if he didn't bring me one, I may hesitate dating him again.
