That looks a lovely peaceful place, Sweep - by the colour of that sky, you had gorgeous weather too!.

Were you affected by the French airport disputes?

Wonderful pictures brings back fond memories, must go again.

Did you bring and of the Saumure sparking wine.

We have stayed in various gite's in the area, we do enjoy a bit more south of the river in the Vendee, close to the beaches of the Atlantic coast.

Again thank you for the pictures and bringing back the good times.

The Village was lovely, good walking too vineyards everywhere(didn't sample much wine as was unwell), also had Patisserie, Resturant & shop all with in 2 mins. Weather was gorgeous & we had 28 degrees on one afternoon & the evening sky was lovely

We drove to Gite so the only possible problem was the Petrol shortage due to the disputes & demonstrations re Retirement Age....that didn't really 'kick in' until after we got back.
