Lost cat

NOT MINE!

But, after going through the anguish of losing Chester for 6 weeks this Spring, I was really saddened to see posters for 'Alfie' on the same pillar box, lamp posts, gate posts etc as I used
I've taken the number and I'll give the poster a ring tomorrow or the next day to a) tell her to keep her pecker up; all is not lost and b) advise her to contact the vet (I'm sure she probably has) and to advertise further away than she thinks - my boy was discovered in the most unlikely place.

It is the most horrible thing .... I feel for her

Re: Lost cat

I do hope this owner will be as lucky as you were DM ........I still think it's a miracle that Chester turned up after so long

Also, I'm sure the owner will appreciate your call and hang on to hope...

Re: Lost cat

I hate to hear of missing pets. One of ours went missing for a week, it's a worrying time. I hope they find it soon.

Re: Lost cat

H - that's so kind of you to do that.

I'm sure it'll help Alfie's Ma keep a positive frame of mind until some news is forthcoming. My heart too sinks whenever I see a poster or a note gets put through the door. I keep a record of the numbers to call for months just incase I come across something that might help.

Re: Lost cat

I always hate to see posters for lost cats and my heart always goes out to its family. I hope this one ends happily and is re-united with his family again soon.
