If EU Citizens are here working and contributing to NI they will not be affected.
If you are a Tourist, you will be affected.
Health Tourists are from outside the EU, so Brexit will make no difference.
Will make no difference if you are a tourist in the uk. It's brits travelling abroad who will be affected as they have systems set up to charge people there. It would take years to set up effective checking and charging systems in the nhs.
They don't have pay desks or systems to process payments. The NHS is set up to be free at the point of access. People who are not resident here should simply be directed to private gps/hospitals for treatment.

That's an administrators solution. Remember that oath doctors in medicine and nurses used to take? Doctors from the EU come to the UK for the money, obviously, but british MD's are more idealistically driven.

Thanks for that Solly. We're planning a few weeks in Portugal at the end of the year, the latest nhs press release says we'll be looked after in Portugal for at least 6 months after a no deal Brexit ... until the dust settles, and something more permanent is put into place.
