Be interesting to see the demographic of these criminals, but with the cuts to our police forces it is not surprising that crimes like this are on the increase.

Its not wise to wear expensive jewellery either as in Michaels case. There are so many opportunists around. Even taking precautions I think no one is safe these days

Later this year, the Tour of Britain will once again pass through our town. If it's anything like last time, there will be at least a dozen police motorcyclists clearing the route in stages. On any Saturday night when the yobs pile out of the pubs and start smashing shop windows or fighting, there's not one to be seen. Not even a bobby. they just get away with it and everyone else has to pick up the bill.

It wouldn't be wise for someone like me to wear a £5,000 (or £15,000) watch but to him it's probably the equivalent of a £25 watch. I'm just saying that he probably doesn't see it as being extravagant..

This type of crime is increasing,its difficult to stop as you never know where they are going to hit and can be away before Police arrive.They snatch bags off women as they ride along
