Yes, absolutely I make my own Chicken Kiev. I make nearly everything from scratch, especially baked goods.

I always have several recipes that I revisit. Once I get it right, I then move on to the next. If I'm not cooking/baking, I'm not happy.

I used to frequent a traditional Italian restaurant that always served Chicken Kiev with Sauteed Potatoes. Yum! I can just taste it.

We buy the shop bought ones too, our last ones were Tesco's own brand and very nice they were too...

Yes guilty here too. I buy shop bought ones too and actually Tesco ones taste ok to me

I have had the shop ones which are nice enough but if that Italian restaurant was still going, I would travel the 200 odd miles back to SW London just for their Chicken Kiev.

What about rice ... a minute or two before it's cooked, add baby spinach leaves. Serve from moulds with matchsticks of red pepper sprinkled on top.
