I would love one of those, Meg. My mother had one - sitting under it's pretty gingham cover - unused - for about 10 years. My Dad eventually sold it and never gave me first refusal - the rascal!!

The gadgets I would have to replace immediately if broken would be my butter mill grater (for grating cold butter into lovely immediate spreadable butter), my Slow Cooker and my two small griddle pans for cooking steaks and chops. Would be absolutely lost without these.

I do the cooking at home, and a decent knife, chopping board and wok and my favourite appliances.

My most useful kitchen appliance is Marge.

She can do absolutely everything although, to be honest, I'm the one who deals with the dishwasher. Actually, I am the dishwasher.
