So this is Christmas

Christmas comes roundonce a year
A good excuse to buy lots of beer,
Yet long after it has been and gone
The hangover from it lingers on,

We then march on into a New Year
Another excuse to buy lots of beer,
And as Hogmany goes on passed
We find hangovers know how to last,

A new start and resolutions we must make
Instead of beer we'll have some cake,
No more beer will pass these lips
Hang on, that cakes gone right to the hips,

So now a diet we will have to take
Help get rid of that darn of that cake,
Sticking to diets is hard work
But from that task we will not shirk,

Lent we will help to keep the diet up
Just toast for breakfast no more fry up,
Look great in a bikini throughout the Summer
What no sun just rain, cor! thats a bummer,

Autumm now is settling in
That new outfit helps me look thin,
Long dark nights are coming now
Yet we'll muddle through some how,

Once again another year has passed
Soon be Christmas again, at last,
Hang on, Christmas brings us lots of cheer
Get out now and buy some Beer.

Yes Mags, I like to write poetry mainly but sometimes I just write what takes my fancy.
