It's no surprise its only the head-banger socialists who sympathise with the CCP. The most important thing to them is to protect their ideology, not admitting its the cause of the deaths of thousands and thousands of people around the world.

There is a lot of similarities to how the CCP have tried to cover this up and how Russia tried to cover up the Chernobyl disaster.

As for coverups, neither the USA or UK are great examples of openness or honesty.

I don't think any county is a great example of honesty, but the majority don't put a large number of innocent lives at risk!

It is a sad fact that many countries want to be more powerful & the Chinese are hardly well known for looking after their own citizens, so I wouldn't be surprised if they had deliberately created a virus that they could use as a weapon.
Look how they treated their people in Hong Kong, because they wouldn't do as they were told!

If the USA hadn't funded the research into coronavirus in bats in the area of Wuhan we would never have found out about the virus caused by the last disaster with SARS that they caused.

The USA inspected the lab on several occasions, warning about their sloppy work back in 2018 and 2019. When the virus broke out, the CCP lied and lied and lied causing the unnecessary deaths of thousands of people and the devastation to the worlds economies. Then the communist sympathisers in the WHO tried to cover it up, following the lead by the CCP and then trying to pin the blame on the USA. And here you are ... trying to pin a share of the blame on the USA who, by ignoring the advice of the CCP apologists in the WHO saved thousands, perhaps millions of lives.

Your joining in with the CCP propaganda machine. If you want examples of lies and cover-ups, you should take a look in the mirror.

I think you got this the wrong way around. In the case of WMD, Dr David Kelly concluded that there weren't any but Blair (a socialist Prime Minister ... no surprise) went and bombed Iraq anyway.

Dr David Kelly was found dead from suicide under a tree shortly before this happened...

Anyway what's this got to do with the CCP causing the deaths of thousands of people around the world and destroying economies because of lies and cover ups ?

I am not going to get into stupid idealogical arguments but all governments cover things up but I think you will find it is the Covid19 virus causing the deaths of thousands of people and the slow response with which the various government's tackled the problem.

New Zealand is a shining example of what happens when a government acts fast and hard without blaming everybody else for the problem. That's what leadership looks like.

The CCP should have announced this as a massive problem as soon as it started. They didn't and lied and lied, still allowing infected Chinese people to return to Europe and infect the hundreds of thousands that then spread around the world.

If the CCP had followed the correct world health protocols and locked down Wuhan back in November when this started it would have reduced the pandemic by 95%.

This is all the CCP's fault - 100% they are to blame make no mistake about that. They lied about the scale of the infections and the virus spread like wildfire, all the time, the CCP lying and the WHO (CCP apologists) response was to accuse the USA of being xenophobic when they (against their advice) stopped travel from China and then Europe. No plan from these guys, just following the lead from the CCP, and you talk about "real leadership" ?

They are lying now - they will continue to lie and many more thousands will die in China because of it.

They lied about SARS, they lied about MERS and now this. If the CCP had been truthful at the start it could all have been prevented
