Yes, now you mention it, I remember you telling us about the Red Arrows. Put me out of my misery, didn't you get to see them as the prize?
Zoom in lens - I like that A macro lens is of a fixed focal length eg. 60mm, 90mm etc or in my case, a Sigma 105mm.
A pure macro lens is 1:1 dedicated - meaning what you see in the viewfinder, is the shot that you will take. With a zoom lens, you could take a photo of something, let's say 10 yards away, but in editing, you can crop the shot to enlarge it, therefore making it appear closer than it really was. As for my prize, I was hoping for a flight with them, but alas, no I actually won a framed photo of my shot, a press pass to the following years show and a 30 minute flying lesson - awesome

Aaaah, I see understand now about the macro lens. Thanks for the explanation chuck.

Oh yes, that's it, the flying lesson! Yes, it is awesome. I had two lessons as a pressie and would have loved to have more, but what's the point of wasting money. I mean, one can't park a plane on the drive or go to Tesco's in it can one - assuming one could afford a plane anyway

Two flying lessons - wow!!! I would have loved to have taken more, but as you say, I had no-where to park it, unless of course I moved my helicopter over a bit

It depends on your priorities Gasman.
Perhaps if you filled the swimming pool in and demolished the gymnasium . . . . ?

Failing that, could you bear to part with some of the Bentleys perhaps?
Just trying to help.

Pah, why should I demolish anything and I need my morning 10 mile swim!! I don't own a Bentley(so last year darling) After my morning swim, I take the Lambo for a quick few laps of my own track (200mph is such fun darling) then its off in the copter to another really important meeting
