This is the new normal, we have to embrace it.

Re: Pubs

Our pubs and clubs are allowed to reopen from 1st June BUT the 4 sq mtr rule for each person must still be enforced.

It will be interesting to see if the number of cases climbs dramatically - the NSW Premier says that with restrictions being relaxed the number of new cases will inevitably rise but the aim is to keep it under control so that medical facilities are not overwhelmed. All social distancing rules remain in force.

We shall see.

I couldn't agree with you more Tachyon. For the last few years Garden Centres have been the best places to eat, some of them producing some very fine cuisine. Gone are the days of the small coffee shops, the ones we visit have extended the premises and produced very comfortable restaurants. Personally I would never eat in a place that allowed dogs in though (except guide dogs)...

Re: Pubs

Happy to say my boozing at the pub days, are over. The only time I go into a pub/eatery is when the juniors come here. They love those places for two reasons. They hate my cooking. Dad/Grandpa always gets to pay.

Re: Pubs

I've largely lost interest in pubs, plenty of happy memories though. Our local was The Prince Alfred tucked away in Marylebone Lane, a proper local pub! Beneath the cellars The Tyburn relentlessly winding it's merry way towards the triple tree.

I'm sure it'll work out eventually, a visit to an online boozer is to awful to contemplate.
