Re: Rugby World Cup...

The first tough game for England, but managed it well l think?
They improved again and if they keep it up have a very good chance
of being in the final!
With any of the following as opponents,AB SA JPN AUS IRL
WLS not in that order, it is so tight this time?

39 - 10 against Argentina is a good result in any language. Through to the quarter finals too.

After lreland, Scotland are now suffering from the aftershocks of
the the Japanese rugby earthquake!
l suspect that others will follow? Japan and South Africa next
could prove a most intriguing match??

Re: Rugby World Cup...

An excellent game today between Japan and Scotland with Japan being worthy winners. Can't say I feel sorry for Scotland what with their recent whining about they and Japan being given two points if the game was cancelled on account of the typhoon and they (the Scots) being turfed out of the World Cup. Many lives lost during the typhoon and all they were bothered about was the match. They lost and are out in any case. Good.

Well said Juddy! Scotland were more focussd on disputing refs
decisions than on their opponents?
They also became bad tempered and ill disciplined and deserved
to lose! That takes nothing away from a great Japanese team!

Scotland's supporters weren't much better - booing when Japan were taking kicks? Unheard of in rugby - you'd expect it of football fans but this at a rugby match was disgraceful.

England fans have been booing , jeering and singing their chariot song during the New Zealand Hakka for years . Extremely disrespectful and “ not done “ in ruby .
