With Cameron's slim majority, the tory back-bench is apparently in revolt and Osborne's tax credit cuts are in their sights.

..... And Osborne doesn't actually need to make those cuts to the Tax credit system - there are others ways of raising the money allegedly needed - but that would mean that his cronies would have to pay more.

If they don't get their way on this I have am awful feeling they're going to attack the even more vulnerable that have no one to fight for them.

Hi

Tax Credits are a subsidy to ensure that large companies can make huge profits by paying workers peanuts,

The sooner they are abolished and replaces with a proper wage the better.

I agree with you but they need to make sure the wages are high enough before removing the tax credits, it's not fair to do it any other way.

I agree Julie, also can you really trust employers to pay the wage or will they find ways around it? Some smaller businesses won't be able to afford it and will close down.

And yet you will still see some saying the middle classes are the hardest hit
