Re: Are your affairs in order ?

It's something I've done as I'm likely not too far from the end.

Re: Are your affairs in order ?

Kids know who is getting what and why, all written down too. Grace was asked who she wished to live with and that's in hand, dogs will go with Nathan and hopefully he will be able to keep this flat on if we are still here when we die. It'll be interesting because council hate relatives claiming council homes but we own 20% so it's going to be harder for them to take it off him.

If they can keep the caravan paid up the boys can keep that going as long as they want then sell it when they don't.

Our funerals are paid and Grace's too.

So not too much not organised.

I have no intention of paying for my funeral. When I go, the state can bury me or just leave me to rot, I'm not fussy.

Re: Are your affairs in order ?

As soon as we can afford it, my wife and myself are going to draw our funeral plans up and get them all paid for in advance. This will ensure the girls will not have to worry about it when the time comes. As far as wills are concerned we really must get around to it!

I hope all you Off-Ers have supplied your executors with your sign in details so no one will have to say, have you heard from so and so lately.

Ha! No I'll disappear quietly.
The thread would get deleted with a day anyway, so who's really bothered?

I've done that for most places spitty, not here though as I would imagine they'd be in trouble for talking about a missing forum member and we aren't allowed to do that.

That's right.
They may offer one post along the lines of "Poor Floydy. Sympathies to his family". Then immediately go to another thread about shopping bags. Poor Floydy indeed. Instantly forgotten after 54 years on this earth.

Same as they do on the news: Louise Minchin saying how sad it is to learn about June Whitfield, then giggling her head off about a story about a goldfish that went missing...
Life loses it's priorities ever so quickly.
