Well, give her the chance first, to tell us what is going on in there. If she can't manage it, then perhaps you can use your mind reading powers.

I don't think we have any potential terrorists on the site. But as we know, you just can't tell.

Anyway, they don't need me to tell them.

Hi

The thing about New Years Eve is that it is a known risk so enforcement agencies are working hard.

I can't see that being much of a factor, if at all.

Re: Terrorist Attack on New Year's Eve

Any chance we can nip this in the bud?
Can we not give it a rest?

Is there some chance we can enjoy tonight's celebrations without people trying to make yet another hate-filled 'discussion' ?

If not, perhaps the mods could move it into Discussions?

Hi

Then you would be completely wrong.

The attack in Manchester last night was stopped in less than 2 minutes.

What is "hate filled" about this discussion?

People really should try to engage what they have left for a brain before commenting.

Nah! It was just a bloke with a knife at a sparsely populated train station at about 8pm - similar to other relatively unsuccessful attacks. With hundreds of thousands of people around the country (and the world) out on the streets drunk at the same time (midnight), it would have been a perfect time for an organised effective attack.

It wouldn't have been difficult, like getting a bomb on a plane or high jacking one. A couple of jihadists with guns would have done it.

Gravy - you sound almost disappointed that there weren't any terrorist attacks!

Re: Terrorist Attack on New Year's Eve

Well considering ISIS was calling for lone wolf attacks I think we must thank our brave service people for their work last night. I thought when I saw the title they had not been effective but it seems that's not the case thankfully. Perhaps think how titles look before posting ? it was worrying opening the thread.
