Re: The Fireworks have started

Went on sporadically here until 2.30, I've decided I'm too old for late nights, fireworks and young girls, got up this morning feeling like I've been drinking for days and didn't have a drop in reality !

Re: The Fireworks have started

The fireworks here weren't as bad as I expected. Only a few went off here after midnight. Maybe at last, people are seeing sense & not buying them & watching the London display on TV instead, as we did.

Dog found this morning in our village, apparently escaped when fireworks scared him at 5pm yesterday afternoon. Several people tried to get him, but he bolted again. Hope someone gets him soon.

So if they know the time he escaped, and the reason, presumably that info came from the owner?

Has anyone reported the sightings to him/her? The owner would be more likely to catch the dog I would have thought.
Poor thing.

Yes the owner was informed mups that's how we all knew when it happened. Apparently he was in the back garden having a wee when a firework went off and scared him to jump over their wall. Nothing they said would calm him enough to come back. Thankfully he has now been returned to them by a young man managed to get him to jump into the back of a van with a bad of crisps. Not healthiest fare but something he seemed to enjoy enough to come to the man for.

Re: The Fireworks have started

Have no idea if there were fireworks near me last night. I went to bed just after 22.00, my head hit the pillow and and I went off fast asleep - managed to sleep through till around 05.00 this morning.

Fireworks went off before 12 and a lot after 12 as well where I am.

Far too long.
