Being Sensible.

Hi

The Rules have been relaxed.

The best thing we can do is to be sensible.

Absolutely no point in putting our Families and others at risk.

The virus is still around, it is not going away anytime soon.

Enjoy yourself but be sensible.

I have a window cleaner coming, my neighbours have been helping me out with the heavy stuff and fixing the shed roof.

Lots of things we can do with full Social Distancing.

Re: Being Sensible.

Baby steps

I'll just keep doing what I've been doing such as taking my daily walk avoiding other people, shopping on evenings at quiet places such as Lidl or little Tesco, see my Dad, wear gloves and masks whilst out.

I will continue speaking with my friends on the phone and not meeting up, I;m not comfortable with that yet.

I am going to meet my niece at the weekend to go for a walk together but at a safe distance.

I will see my son but I won't go in his house, we will talk at distance.

No hugging yet which is something I'm finding very difficult like most people. Elbows and bum bumps will continue as signs of affection.

I'm expecting a spike after seeing selfish people gathering together on Dday.

Re: Being Sensible.

We're still in Lockdown but it doesn't really alter much from our normal life as we're so isolated anyway. I miss meeting up with my girlfriends once a month for lunch and a catchup/gossip. But we talk on the phone. I also miss my daily swim like mad, but will not rush to return when we do finally get to go back. It'll be very much a game of "Wait n See" that I'll be playing. But it will be nice to be able to drive along the top coast to the further away places I like to go with the dog.

I think sensible people will continue being so, but the worry is that the fools won't change either...

Re: Being Sensible.

For the last 3 months I've been self-isolating, wearing masks when I shop for groceries, and lots and lots of hand-washing followed by alcohol hand washing.

I had, until recently hoped that I could avoid getting that nasty virus. However, after reading an article written by a national known epidemic specialist, I have given up any hope that I will last the several years until a viable vaccine can be developed. In the article he said that 70 % of the American public will contract the virus.

Being deaf and living alone has pushed me over the edge into hopelessness.

Hi

Yes it will.

Changing rooms are a very different issue.

It's only rubbing alcohol. Deadly if consumed.
