Just like you are or were a good enforcement officer...how many times have you told us that?

Hi

I know you don't like me or anyone else who dare challenge your Born Again Christian Self Righteous Attitude.

Such is life, I can cope with it.

You destroyed my thread about organisation.

Your Choice, not mine.

I will keep posting as I see fit.

I am not a Mod, neither are you.

I will always comply with the Mods on here.

I do not always agree with them. but 99% I do.

I sometimes get it wrong, and that is entirely my fault.

I measure usually in grams,or kg...depends on the recipe.
I also measure in cups as well.

But mostly grams.
Kg is SI.

Re: From scratch

I must say,i save a lot of money,when I cook in batches.

The chicken pasta bake...I made yesterday....I will get another six meals from it...I will put it in individual containers, just enough for me.

My son is a very fussy eater...but he thoroughly enjoyed it last night.

Along with a chocolate fondant pudding..I freeze those in batches as well.
A Gordon Ramsay recipe....absolutely delicious .

She doesn't. Why on earth would/could you even conclude that??

If a recipe calls for four ounces of an ingredient and we buy that in SI units as we do here in UK, a conversion is required. Sure, you can get those conversions on the wibbly wobbly web But I just know the conversion factors and can do them mentally.

So, it's just quicker to ask me.

Sorry...your method of measurement aren't the same as mine.

There is nothing hard in measuring out ingredients.

A recipe is a recipe...nothing hard in following one...

I weigh in grams,kg...mostly....sometimes imperial.

No conversion is needed..you just weigh four ounces from the packet onto the scales.

One of the most expensive spices, Swimmy, you are right. Waitrose are currently selling it at £50 per 10gms. It is worth it though - it is delicious.
