Good Morning everyone.Cold but bright here today.
I will be hibernating in the craft room - yesterday's trip to the craft fair in Harrogate yielded lots of good things I didn't even know I needed until I saw them on the stalls - have blown this month's house keeping budget - good job the cat food has been delivered or I would be in real trouble!
Off to play - have a fun day.

Good morning everyone
it rained all night and everywhere is cold and wet. I have been out to dig up some leeks to go in the vegetable soup I am making for lunch. I will have it with some homemade wholemeal bread rolls a simple but tasty and healthy feast.
For some reason my leeks are splitting so although they are not full size I am going to dig them up and eat them.

Good morning - It's brighter out there today. We can't get out because of Mrs mart's illness but it's good to look out on some sunshine anyway.We got a surprise visit from our daughter yesterday. She lives in Spain now but came here because it was 75 years ago yesterday that my parents inflicted me on the World.
We normally only take notice of 'decade' birthdays but it was nice that she went through the bother and expense to be here on my 75th.
She goes back to Spain this evening.
