Re: Things that annoy you!

Bloody self-service tills are well up on my sh!t list at the moment. In Smith's yesterday to buy a newspaper. Put £1 in the slot and nothing registered so I called for help. Girl comes over, "Did you put any money in?" Arrggghhhh! "Yes, Of course I did, a brand new £1 coin. It was the only coin I had in my pocket". She presses her ID creds against the screen, touches a few buttons and I heard the coin drop through the equipment.

Same again this morning in our local Sainsbury. Only this time it was a £2 coin that got caught up in the "works".

I know what you mean Percy.
Sometimes I think these 'quickie' self service things take even longer than joining the check out queue.
They are fine when they are working properly, but like you, I nearly always have to call for someone.

Cyclists again!
Lunchtime today, they were riding round the lanes 3 abreast!

Further on, horse riders were riding two abreast on narrow lanes as well.

Of course. They are not subject to the same laws as are the rest of us.

Yes, quite. Our dogs must not foul. Refuse bins are required for them. The horse riders on the very same path need no such requirement. And they have a lot of shit each go.......

Animals. How do we have them in our lives without annoying others? It's impossible! I have neighbors, with small dogs, on all sides of me and, though I don't have anything against dogs, they drive me crazy! They start to bark on the way out the door and continue until they are satisfied that they have scared everything off. THAT'S the problem for me. WHY DO PEOPLE LET THEIR DOGS BARK!

Flippin Windows updates! Completely locked me out of my laptop!
Wouldn't recognise pin number or passwords! After ages managed to change my Microsoft password, which I didn't want to!
Now Pet Rescue taking ages to start up!

Oooo I'm annoyed now!

I think it was Tiffany who had the same problem a few days ago Tess. She said it took 3 hours to finish updating!
