Mistaken Lyrics in Songs

We've all done it. Thought a lyric in a song was totally different.

What are some of your doozies?

The song, In The Summertime by Mungo Jerry:
Real lines- We're no threat people
We're not dirty, we're not mean

I always thought the 2nd line was "We're not dirty with our feet"

The song, Devil With A Blue Dress
Real lines- Wearing her pearls & her diamond rings,
She's got bracelets on her fingers now & everything

I thought the 2nd line was, "She's got breakfast on her fingers now & everything

There's many others too but can't think of them at the moment
& yes, I have very good hearing

I remember thinking MAdonna was being a bit too honest (if somewhat racist) in La Isla Bonita when she sang, "Last night I slept with some dago!"

Elton John.
Candle in the wind.
When I listened to it I thought he sang.

"Loneliness was tough,
The sausage roll you ever played."
