Can anyone put a name to the small plants in this photo with variegated green, white and pink leaves please?

It looks like Alexander's loosestrife to me Mags.

Mags, was there ever a Hebe there?

I have some tri-colour Hebes that look very similar.
Just wondering if they are off-shoots left behind.

That’s a great guess carol. I couldn’t guess but it looks like some type of ground cover.

Carol, I didn't know what the Loosestrife looked like, but found this picture in the end:
There is a purple one as well apparently.



We could do with Tess's opinion too, she is good at identification.

I have no idea Mups, my son has just moved into a new house and he came across these small plants in the very neglected garden
