The freedom to travel, also freedom of movement or freedom of movement, is a universal human right.

The freedom to travel is described in Article 13 in the Universal Declaration of Human Rights, adopted by the General Assembly of the United Nations on December 10, 1948.

"Everyone has the right to freedom of movement and residence within the borders of each State. Everyone has the right to leave any country, including their own, and to return to their country."
- Article 13, Universal Declaration of Human Rights

A fierce opponent of this right in 1948 was the Soviet Union, where citizens were not allowed to cross the border freely at that time. In the end, the Soviet Union abstained, as did five other Eastern bloc countries, South Africa and Saudi Arabia, so that no country voted against the Universal Declaration. [1]

Freedom to travel today is often limited by the construction of walls or other types of fencing. For example, a wall has been built between Israel and the Palestinian territories, there are fences over part of the border between the United States and Mexico, and North Korea has almost completely isolated itself from the rest of the world.

Apart from that, it is not possible or possible in some countries to make all desired domestic journeys. In addition, there are countries that have independence-seeking or otherwise unsettled areas, where a travel ban applies. Holy cities such as Mecca and formerly Lhasa cannot be visited by anyone

Health and safety rules should override Human Rights Solasch....

Where it would be dangerous to admit large groups of people, such as insufficient medical access, or limited housing, water and energy supplies and food. Fire risk assessments on buildings and public spaces and insufficient crowd control....

Well I see what you mean. On a similar note: if a municipality is unable to protect a politician during his speech or a stroll afterwards, they must forbid that politician to speech in public. He can record a speech and put it on internet, no need to put him at risk of milkshakes with terrible flavours. Only politicians who are not insulted by this rubbish should be allowed to speak in public. Don't you agree?
