Re: Crushes
Hmm, crushes ey . .
When I was younger I was practically in love with three men.
1.
Neil Diamond. Not for his dashing good looks, but for his lovely gravelly voice, and the heart-felt lyrics he sang. Every song told a story, not like most of the rubbish today.
Still love his music now.
2. For sheer good looks and presence -
George Clooney. (The real one, not our naughty impersonator here
).
Even as he has got older, he still 'does it' for me.
To me, people either 'have it' or they don't. They can't fake it.
Just a certain look, a smile, or twinkle in their eye and I'm hooked. Wealth and/or status is immaterial. It's something in their personality every time.
3. Good old
Richard Geer. Another one who just has that certain way about him, and that little twinke.
In more recent years I have noticed
Colin Firth has something about him too.
I have never liked young 'pretty' boys like the blue-eyed one Sweetie posted earlier, nor the 'tailor's dummy' - perfect, not a hair out of place type either.
If someone has that magnetism, it will be there even in their grubbiest work clothes - sometimes even
because of that.
