Boiler & heating insurance

Does anyone have insurance cover for problems with their boiler and central heating? If so, can they recommend it, how much is it and what does it cover and exclude?

I have a plumbing insurance with HomeServe - £52 pa - but it appears anything to do with the boiler isn't covered!!!

Just received a bill for one thirty-minute callout........£55!!

Re: Boiler & heating insurance

Our boiler is covered under our home insurance ( direct line) we called them out a couple of years ago when the programmer failed, cost us for a new programmer but labour was covered, including fitting the part, might be worth checking your insurance

Thanks - that's really helpful. I'll check my insurance.
