Windows Media Player

How can I increase the sound on Windows Media Player and on itunes..............in fact, I'd like all the sound on the computer to be increased.

do you have that icon bottom right next to date & time

Not exactly the same, but a loudspeaker thingey which is set to 100%, as is the volume on WMP.

Try right clicking that icon and fiddling with whatever is there .... mixer .... troubleshooter.

Thanks - that opens volume mixer which shows all sound systems at maximum; Sound which shows playback on high definition as does volume control options.

Powered (amplified) speakers are probably what's needed. I bought these from Amazon a while ago and the sound is pretty good.

There are some that come with a sub-woofers for better base.

The choice is wide, so best to read a few reviews on amplified speakers for computers.

I have something remarkably similar from Logitech
