Idle dreaming.

I do not want to move. I like it here and I want to see my fruit trees grow. On the other hand I am rather fond of someone and her daughter.

Mother cannot live forever(92 and with cancer) and although her house is mortgaged up to the hilt(shared appreciation mortgage-grief that man was a dick head) I may still inherit a few quid.

My mind is turning towards having an extension built in due course. I have the space both front and back and my bungalow is not in a conservation area.

Sense or the dreaming of a romantic fool?

Your choice Stephan if I was in your position I would leave things as they are and have the best of both worlds

I agree with Meg. New relationships, that involve living together, often prove to be unsuccessful because you both would have to change your way of life. With separate homes you can enjoy each others company, but still escape to your own domains.
Sharing a house could lead to a lot of complications, and maybe end your friendship.

Re: Idle dreaming.

The facebook link on post 3 doesn't seem to be working - just says page not available?

What's all this music on a DIY thread an' all?

Now I've had me moan, all I wanted to say was I agree entirely with Twink's post above.

Not practical I know but how lovely you are thinking like this. Romantic fool ? I think romantic covers it and you are no fool.

Re: Idle dreaming.

This is not easy to type despite my strange ways. Jenny is gone, she will never come home again. Someone tells me she loves me-and I believe she does-wow that`s quite something to be told.

We will see.
