The Vatican City is the smallest City in the world and one of the richest
It is a law onto itself and issues its own coins.

Jesus ,the founder of Chirtianity was the poorest of the poor,

Yet, The Vatican continues to hoard money.
It has several billion dollars in gold ingots in U S A, and investments in all major World Banks as well as property World Wide.
Why can’t it do more for the refugees and help to relieve poverty?

There has always been rumours of corruption in the Vatican
Now in Vatileaks we are told of Cronyism Paedophilia Financial mismanagement Money laundering and hints of murder as well.

Priests and Bishops and Popes are just like all other men and commit sins like all other mortals.
But they must be confident in the fact that on their Death-bed they can repent. And all will be forgiven and they can then enter The Kingdom of Heaven.

I have always wondered that meself Tiziana, the place is rotten with wealth and art tresures collected over centuries, why do they need to hoard such vast reserves? at least some of it should be distributed out to help those who need it most now, they certainly don't follow in Christs footsteps and practice what they preach.

I think that this present Pope is a good man .
The Catholic Chirch is the foremost donar of charity in the world .
Money generates money and all that money is used to help and teach people ,support hospitals and care for the homeless .
As for the art treasures I would prefer they are in the Vatican for all to see not locked away in some billionaires private collection.

Yes you are quite right I know they do support so many charities ,but it is drop in the ocean compared to their riches

That is true, but they still expect the poorest people to put money in the collection box at Mass
