I agree with Bruce , cordless stuff has come on leaps and bound since the days of the old nicad batteries, lithium is much more durable, sure they’ll eventually have to be replaced, but they have no memory effect, I have a cordless lawnmower, and cordless multi tool, that’s a hedge trimmer,chainsaw, and strummer/lawn edger, I also have a ryobi dril and leaf blower, motors tend to be brushless and more reliable so they should last longer, for me there’s no more trailing wires, or having to buy petrol for the mower, not to mention trying to start the damn thing,

I am a happy bunny, Primus, with this trimmer and my electric secateurs nothing in the garden is safe!
